I have a Blog? Who Knew!

Well, well well...

I haven't blogged in over a year. That's sad.

One of my passions is writing and instead, I've gone back to the good old days of hand written journals. I could express what i've written on here but this would be the never ending post, so I will refrain from my journal entries and give a brief overview of my life since last year.

The perfect word to describe my life is ROLLERCOASTER AND CHAOS. I broke up with 1 boyfriend, got another boyfriend, ran away from all my emotions and problems, got a job on another Disney show, worked 12+ hours on average, moved to downtown thinking it would make things better, moved out of downtown because it didn't and in turn broke up with another boyfriend.

Can you say crazy?

I know it may sound like I am an emotional headcase, but in reality I'm just a confused 24-year old girl wanting to experience everything and anything that comes my way. Literally. This past year has been such an experience for me and probably will never be forgotten. I learned a lot about myself that really puts in perspective who I am and what I want out of life.

With that said, I have never felt more relieved in my life. I feel like I'm completely starting my life over and making decisions on my own (which is amazing by the way). If you couldn't tell, I like my space. I'm not super emotional and I'm overly independent. But that's how I should be right now. I don't need anyone to tell me what to do or how to feel. And it's such a spectacular feeling! I'm starting to feel like myself again and I could not be more happier.

Today, I am overjoyed and grateful for the present and upcoming events happening in my life. My family is amazing and actually doing our Holidays in Seattle, which I could not be more excited for. Also, 2 of my closest and dearest friends (practically family) are preggers!!! I could not be more excited to have more nephews and/or nieces to play with and spoil. I am beyond thrilled to be an auntie again!! It's the most joyous feeling in the world.

I will post pictures and more things happen. But for now, I'll leave on a happy note and promise to blog on a more regular basis!!

I'm backkkkkkkkk!

Long Time, No See...continued.

I forgot to add on what else has been going on in my life.

In July, I worked on a fabulous web series. It was a great experience and I can't wait to see where it goes. And in a week, I'll be working on another web series for FOX so hoping it'll be just as fun!

And in the meantime, I continue to look for a more permanent job as Wizards of Waverly place ended it's show and I'm forced to find another job that was as amazing as Wizards was. Which will probably be impossible!

Lastly, I love my friends!! I recently went vegas again for Labor Day and was re-united with my best friends from college! I cannot express how much I miss, need, and adore all of them! It was an amazing trip and I can't wait to be re-united with them again!!

Ok, I'm tired of blogging. I promise not to lag more than I already do on new posts!

Long Time, No See

Well, it's been quite a while since my last post. Mainly because I forget I even have a blog, and let's be real, my life isn't very exciting lately. Anyways, here's a brief update on what's been going on since May.

I traveled to Europe for the first time in my life. And can I say, it was quite the adventure. By far the best vacation I've ever been on. Everyone's always told me the wonderful things about the country, but you can't truly agree until you've visited it.

First stop was Amsterdam. We stayed at this tiny, small, quaint little hotel along one of the canals. It definitely was a different hotel experience than what I'm use to, but it sufficed for the 3 days I was there. During those 3 days, my Uncle and his gf traveled down from their town, Bergen Op Zoom (about 1-2 hours north of Amsterdam) where they gave my mom and I a complete tour of the city. Did I mention I did this trip with my Mom? Obviously I would have loved to travel with my friends, but my mom and I are super close and since her brother does live out there, it was only right to go together. Anyways, we did the canal boat tour, Anne Frank house, Red Light District (so unreal), and of course lots and lots of cafe's and drinking. It was an amazing experience and Amsterdam is definitely a city I can't wait to go back to with my friends.

Second stop was my uncle's town, Bergen Op Zoom. Basically in the middle of the Netherlands and very, very small! We stayed in my uncles little house located about 2 mins from the main square. We did a lot of day trips the 6 days we were there. We went to Belgium a couple times, Vulkenberg, and a bunch of other small cities throughout the Netherlands. The countryside was such an amazing sight. It's nothing like I've ever seen before. I definitely got a feel of the dutch and their food. Food= Amazing. Dutch=Questionable. Their accent is one I will NEVER learn. Overall, a great experience and Netherlands are amazing.

Third and Final Stop, Paris. It was my favorite part of the trip. Paris is everything that it seemed. Romantic, gorgeous, and a little smelly! We stayed in paris for 5 days, but could have done it all in 3. It was good to relax though and get some time to ourselves. We did the normal tourist attractions- Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Louve, Notre Dame, and Champs de Elysees. Also did lots of shopping and walking everywhere! The weather was amazing as well! Although the sights were amazing, the people were not so. They were kinda rude and always in a rush to get everywhere. It was strange but I got past it after a few days. I definitely will be coming back here.

Here's just a few pics from the trip. It was amazing.

Beautiful Canals in Amsterdam.

Canal Boats in Amsterdam (a little jet lagged for sure)

Crazy lop-sided houses in Amsterdam.

In front of the Anne Frank House. So amazing.

Next trip, Netherlands. (Windmill we found in a small town).

Vulkenburg. Such a cute and pretty town.

Vulkenburg Castle ruins.

Last stop, Paris. In front of the Notre Dame.

Top of the Notre Dame. Scariest moment ever. I'm afraid of heights. But such a pretty view!

The Louve!

Gorgeous Eiffel Tower.

Eifell Tower lit up at night. So beautiful!

Finally, the Arc De Triomphe. It was def. a sight to see!

SEASON OF BABIES!

So as I posted about 9 months ago, my two best friends WERE pregnant! But as of today, they are both proud mother's of the most handsome, delicious, beautiful baby boys! I believe I am the happiest aunt ever! It's not everyday I can say that ;)

Kelli Crockett Lindahl was due March 8, 2011. However, little baby Ace was too comfortable and decided to be fashionably late to enter the world. So come Tuesday the 8th, when no baby arrived, Kell remained calm and realized he would come when he's ready. Little did she know he was definitely too comfortable in there and a whole week and a day would pass before any action would occur. Eventually, March 16th rolled around and Kell gave birth (and a silent one at that) to the cutest little man, Ace Robert Lindahl! He was born at 9:44pm that night at 7 pounds, and 13 oz. I received a text around 2am with the amazing news! I was too excited to sleep! I called her the next morning to congratulate her and luckily, talked to her on the phone for a bit. It was so great to talk to her and hear baby Ace for the first time. I definitely got a little sentimental because this is my best friend to have her first baby! It's as if it were one of my own! I went to visit a couple days after the birth and OH MY GOSH. I fell in love. Baby Ace was super tiny and sooooooo squishy and cute! He had that new born baby smell and I couldn't resist my infatuation for him. I've grown a tad bit obsessed and fortunately took about a thousand pictures of him. Here are just a few.
Wrinkly and Cute!! :)
So Sleepy
Ace Robert Lindahl <3

Nakey Baby! Wink ;)

Proud Dad :)
Proud Auntie :)

Ace is such a cutie pa-tootie and I couldn't be more happier to have him in my life. Thank you Kell and Kirk for your beautiful miracle! So blessed to have you guys as friends :)

Next Up,

Aly Bingham Salvesen! Aly's due date is April 4, 2011. However, little baby Salvesen decided to do opposite of his best friend Ace and make his grand debut TODAY, March 31, 2011!!! He was born at 7:55am this morning, weighing in at about 8 pounds and 1 oz. (Aly I don't know how you pushed that out haha) Aly's intuition told her that this baby would come early. She was prepared and definitely ready to get this baby out. Having known Aly for 12 years now, I know she doesn't handle pain well. Therefore, she already knew an epidural was going to be needed and much much screaming would occur. Yesterday, her water broke and by 9pm she was in the hospital with minor contractions. We were texting for a bit and talking about how bad her contractions were. I told her "ouch" and she'll definitely feel better after that epidural. About an hour later, she said the epidural was in and feeling a little better. She was only dilated at 5cm so I knew it would be a while till the baby came. Therefore, I went to sleep! I wanted to stay up but now knowing the baby didn't come till this morning, I'm happy I didn't lol I woke up at 6am this morning and texted her right away asking about the progress. In reality, I really told her to keep the baby in cause I was going to the gym and wouldn't be around my phone for a couple hours haha Sorry Al, I was a little self-ish. But I was too excited to miss it! Little did I know she had already started pushing by 6:30am and by 7:55am, little baby Salvesen was born!!! I called her at about 930am on my way to work and reached her voicemail. I left a long and of course entertaining message for her. Luckily for me, she immediately called back and I spoke with her for a while!! She sounded amazing!! Of course I asked every about every little detail during the actual labor haha But it was so great to talk with her!! Aly is like family to me. She is my sister, best friend, and a part of me! Just like Kell, I feel as if her baby is one of my own. Unfortunately, Aly lives in stinky Utah! So I won't see her for a couple months. Which really saddens me because missing out on something as big as this hits close to my heart. Since we were kids, we always talked about having kids together and being there for each other. I just wish I could have been there for her. But, I am in spirit!! And I hope she know's that! I don't have any pictures yet but as soon as I do, you know I'll be posting them all over the place. Here's just 1 I took off my phone from Aly's facebook. He's so adorable and I just want to snuggle and kiss him!! I can't wait to see him in a couple months!
A little Blurry but still SO ADORABLE!!! <3
I'm so happy for her and her husband Conryd!! I know she screamed and yelled bloody murder, but it was all worth it for him!! So cute and congratulations to you guys!! Love you so much!

My best friends mean the world to me. And now that they both have their own families, I couldn't be happier for them. (or to be a part of their families too ;) ) I'm so blessed for these two wonderful babies and I will be the best aunt I can be for them. And hopefully one day, I will be having one of my own and they will be on their 2nd/3rd and we can all be preggers together!! Just like we always planned!

LOVE you Aly, Kelli, Ace, and Baby Salvesen!!!!!!! (I forgot to mention he doesn't have a name yet! SOON though!)

Travel

One of my passions is traveling. Before I die, I must travel to these countries and spend time there to learn the culture and language. I want to experience a new life where I can escape for a while into the depths of these countries.

First Up, Spain!
Barcelona, Spain
Madrid, Spain
Not too sure which city I want to stay in, but I would love to visit both!!

Next is India!

The Taj Mahal, and various temples are fascinating! Such architectural beauty and serene atmosphere! It couldn't be more perfect :)

Third Trip- BALI!

Bali is the tropical beach/jungle scenery I need. I want to stay in a hut where no shoes or blow dryers are needed! An escape from reality is what Bali is :)

And Last but not Least....BRAZIL!

City of God

Rio De Janeiro! Beyond anything I've ever wanted to see. I would love to learn Portuguese and travel the city streets!

These destinations are not in any particular order. But I must say, these trips already look beyond what I am imagining. I can't wait!!! Starting to save up as we speak!

Til then...goodbye, adiós, अलविदा, selamat tinggal, adeus!!!
